More than any other sport, sailing brings together talented sportsmen and women with common goals. For this reason, Mirabaud has long associated its name and image with the world of sailing and the exceptional feats accomplished by its professionals.
Mirabaud has been the sponsor of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud since 2005. The Group is passionate about this major regatta in the European sailing calendar, and event which embodies simultaneously endurance, tenacity and team spirit.
Alongside its sponsorship of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud and the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image, the Group is one of the partners of the SUI Sailing Awards, which pay tribute to the most deserving figures in competitive Swiss sailing every two years.
In the past, the Group has been the proud sponsor of various personalities and teams embodying excellence in performance: the professional racing team Spindrift Racing for three years (2014-2016), Dominique Wavre (the most acclaimed yachtsman in Switzerland) for seven years (2010-2016), Thomas Jundt and its sailing dinghy Mirabaud LX, the British Olympic women’s sailing crew and Mike Horn, who achieved various extreme sailing exploits.
